2026 Walk for Independence Registration

Join the National Federation of the Blind of Nebraska for our annual 2026 Walk for Independence on Saturday, October 3, 2026. This statewide event brings together members, families, and supporters across Nebraska to raise funds and promote independence, equality, and opportunity for blind Nebraskans.

Event Locations and Schedules

  • Omaha Chapter: Location and time to be determined.
  • Lincoln Chapter: Holmes Park in Lincoln. Check-in opens at 8:30 AM; walk starts at 9:00 AM.
  • Greater At-Large Chapter: Harmon Park in Kearney. Check-in opens at 9:30 AM; walk starts at 10:00 AM.

Registration and T-Shirts

  • Registration Fee: $25 per participant.
  • T-Shirt Included: Every registered participant may receive a t-shirt. Select your size on the registration form.
  • Flexible Payment: Pay online during registration with a debit or credit card, or choose to pay on-site via cash or check.
